We don't know if prices will go up and down, nor do we care. What we have at any single moment during the trading day is the levels up or down current prices where the Algo will go. Again easier to see than explain. So this moment we have the following levels down:

512.45 513.16 511.9 etc.

If prices start to move down we have a high probability trade of reaching 512.45 and so on...
We also play with the levels of ES, here is an example:

Your charting is bad and worthless. Never seen anyone pick so many wrong things. A coin flip is better than your 80% wrong calls. And please don't talk about 2021 again. Was a once in a lifetime OTC market. We all made money. You have lost badly in the OTC with your charts for years taking out 2021. One of the worst chartists ever. Maybe one day you;ll learn how to trade the OTC. The OTC trades on events, PRs and filings not charts. Especially on trip plays. And no chart can predict a 5X or way more you are always predicting. Kind of like Trump making up far fetched numbers.

That's a lot of funnymental analysis, I let the markets chart tell me how it interprets the funnymentals and trade accordingly. 481.80 low Monday has set the low for the year imo, I just bought a couple TQQQ calls! Short term the options are cheap given the volatility potential in these fast market conditions. Look at a weekly chart of SPY and note the weekly stochastics buy signal given this week, the stochastics don't give many buy signals but when it does you need to get in! Last year we saw weekly stochastics buy signals from oversold levels in April and in August, both marked the swing low bottom, I'm Bullish! GL

Ok, the questions you should ask yourself, every day, are:
-Where are the algo limits? That area is the price playground
-Where are positioned the Shorts and the longs: the Targets
-Where is the average price of the Algo: the smiley
-Are there blue lines? (long term average prices)
-Are there more shorts than longs (or vice-versa) within algo range?
-Are there red zones? (areas without targets)

IF you don't know these answers, you need to resort to lagging indicators, that trend line, the blue line over the red line... [sigh]
