Empresas ICA, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:ICA) (NYSE:ICA), the largest infrastructure and construction company in Mexico, announced today that the Company had not reached an agreement on the previously-announced transaction with Servicios Corporativos Javer S.A.P.I. de C.V.

In this context, ICA confirmed its strategic focus in the construction and infrastructure development sectors. The Company will continue developing its current housing development projects, but does not expect to make any additional investments in the sector. The Company will also seek near-term opportunities to carry out transactions involving these assets that generate value.
