UBC Media Group announces US Digital Radio product launch at NAB in Las Vegas

UBC Media Group plc ("UBC" or "the Company") announces the launch of its Digital
Radio Display Text software in partnership with Harris Corporation of the US -
the market-leading supplier of radio transmission equipment in North America.
This follows the successful conclusion of a co-development trial announced by
the Company in November 2005. The agreement with Harris Corporation will
integrate UBC's display text software into Harris's HD Radio(TM) Flexstar(TM)
product portfolio. Under the terms of the three-year contract, Harris will offer
a branded version of the text software to new and existing HD Radio customers.

Commenting on today's announcement, Simon Cole, UBC Chief Executive said:

"The UK has been the test laboratory where UBC have been leading digital radio
software development for the last three years. The major US radio groups have
committed to a timetable to transition to HD Radio over the next 2 years.
Altogether there are more than 13,000 radio stations in the US which presents a
real opportunity for UBC."
