Amendments to Prospectus

The board of directors of db x-trackers (the Company) has resolved to make the
following amendments to the prospectus of the Company:

1. Change the definition of Business Day for each sub-fund of the Company so as
to read as follows:

Business Day: Means a day (other than a Saturday or a Sunday) on which
commercial banks, foreign exchange markets and clearing agents are open and
settle payments in Luxembourg and on which the Underlying Asset is calculated by
the relevant Index Provider.

2. Payment date of dividends:

Dividends for Class 1D Distribution Shares are henceforth expected to be paid in
July of each year.

3. Change of name of the Underlying Asset of the sub-fund db x-trackers S&P 500
SHORT ETF:

The name of the Underlying Asset of this sub-fund has been changed to ,,S&P 500
Inverse Index".

Copies of the revised prospectus of the Company dated 27 June 2008 reflecting
the above changes may be obtained on request from the registered office of the
Company.
