OXFORD INSTRUMENTS PLC - SHAREHOLDING NOTIFICATION
In accordance with S202 of Companies Act 1985, we have been notified today
that on 14 January 1999 BBC Pension Trust Limited sold 76,900 Oxford
Instruments ordinary shares of #0.05p each, thus reducing its total interest
to 1,415,800 shares, representing 2.9% of that class of capital.
These shares were sold from the holding registered in the name of Chase
Nominees Limited.
The BBC Pension Trust Limited therefore no longer has a notifiable interest in
Oxford Instruments plc.
