    Appointment of Director


    The Board of Canton Property Investment Limited (AIM: CPIL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Terence Collins as
Non-Executive Director effective from 11 November 2008. 

    Terence Collins, aged 65, commenced work as a trainee accountant before taking over the Collins family companies in the UK in 1968. The
family companies included several engineering companies, a transport company and an international engineering trading company.

    In 1986, Mr Collins incorporated the first dedicated residential bridging bank Home Bridging Plc and Commercial Bridging Plc in the UK
raising GBP 105m from a syndicate of 18 international banks. After a period of successful trading the companies were taken over by Royal
Life, a shareholder in the companies.

    In 1992, Mr Collins formed Wilde & Associates, an offshore accountancy and corporate finance firm based in Guernsey which specialised in
corporate recovery, structuring offshore companies and advising property groups. The company was taken over by another accountancy group in
1997.
    Since 1997, Mr Collins has owned or been advisor to a number of offshore property and investment companies in the UK, USA and South
Africa.

    Commenting on the appointment, Charlie Lin, Chief Executive Officer, said "We are delighted to have Mr Collins join the Board. His
experience will strengthen the Board and provide a strategic focus to our activities".
