                       ASOS plc ("ASOS" or "the Company")

                               Holding in Company

ASOS was advised on 5 December 2006 that Fidelity International Limited, and its
direct and indirect subsidiaries, have acquired 44,300 ordinary shares in the
Company and now hold a total of 9,372,288 ordinary shares, all non-beneficially,
which represent approximately 13.01 per cent. of the entire issued share capital
of the Company.

Of the total shareholdings notified: 535,800 ordinary shares are held in the
name of Bank of New York Brussels; 217,000 ordinary shares are held in the name
of Northern Trust London; 534,000 are held in the name of Mellon Bank; 1,220,300
are held in the name of Citibank London; 513,600 ordinary shares are held in the
name of State Str Bank and Trust Company London; 3,619,388 ordinary shares are
held in the name of Brown Bros Harriman Ltd Lux; 194,300 ordinary shares are
held in the name of Brown Brothers Harriman and Co; 1,049,700 ordinary shares
are held in the name of Bank of New York Europe London and 1,488,200 ordinary
shares are held in the name of JP Morgan, Bournemouth.
