Re:   Allotment of shares against exercise of Employees Stock Options.

We have to inform you that pursuant to the Resolution passed by Circular dated
May 31, 2005, by the Shareholders/Investors Grievance Committee,


6,500 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2000,

16,212 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2001

30,550 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2002.

18,825 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2003.


Consequently, the paid up Share Capital of the Company has increased from
17,86,93,762 shares to 17,87,65,849 shares of Rs.10/- face value, as of date.
