Skipton Building Society today announces the appointments of Denis Hall and Richard Coates as Non-Executive Directors.

Denis Hall joins with over 30 years experience in Chief Risk Officer roles at GE Capital, Deutsche Bank and CitiBank. He is currently a non-executive director of Cembra Bank, Switzerland where he sits on their Audit and Risk Committee, Moneta Bank in the Czech Republic where he Chairs the Transition Committee and he is the Chairman of Hyundai Capital Bank Europe.

Richard Coates joins the Board having spent 30 years in senior roles at KPMG. He is currently a non-executive director of Police Mutual Assurance Society where he is Chair of the Audit Committee and TPT Retirement Solutions where he is Chair of the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee. He was formerly a non-executive Director of Northern Rock plc from 2008 to 2010, and Chair of the Audit Committee at Co-Operative Bank plc from April 2013 until his retirement from the Board in October 2016.

Both appointments are with immediate effect.
