Meritage Reports Acquisitions of Two Wendy's Restaurants in Jacksonville Designated Market Area

Meritage Hospitality
Group Inc. (OTCQX: MHGU), one of the nation?s premier restaurant operators,
announced the acquisition of two Wendy?s restaurants in the Jacksonville, FL designated
market area.

The newly acquired Wendy?s
restaurants are located in Kingsland, GA and Jacksonville, FL.

In addition Meritage has
commenced construction on three Wendy?s ?Image Activation? remodel programs,
which the company believes will accelerate the brand transformation of its
Wendy?s portfolio.
