Windfire Commences Soil Sampling Program

Windfire Capital Corp. (TSX VENTURE:WIF) (the "Company"), wishes to announce
that it has commenced its 2011 exploration program at its Princeton Gold Project
25 kilometres south of the town of Princeton, British Columbia. The 12,620
hectare property is being explored for polymetallic gold quartz veins.
Preliminary prospecting by the property vendor was successful in locating
angular quartz float along a 2.5 kilometre trend on the central portion of the
property that returned gold values from 10.3 ppb Au to 25.34 grams per tonne
gold. Windfire has commenced a grid soil geochemistry sampling program over the
2.5 kilometre trend to locate the source of the angular quartz float and trace
the suspected vein structures along strike in advance of excavator trenching and
or drilling.


Windfire is earning a 100% interest, subject to a 3% Net Smelter Return (NSR)
royalty by making cash payments totalling, $90,000, issuing a total of 1,050,000
shares and completing a total of $1,025,000 in exploration expenditures over the
next three years. Windfire has the option to purchase up to 2/3 of the NSR for
$1,000,000 for each third, which would leave the vendor with a 1% NSR.
