Micrex Development Corp.- Metallic and Industrial Mineral Permit Received

Micrex Development Corp. ("Micrex" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:MIX) is
pleased to advise that it has received a metallic and industrial minerals permit
from Alberta Resource Revenue and Operations to continue exploration and
development of its registered claims near the area of its leased mineral
properties in the southeast part of the Province of Alberta. This will greatly
assist Micrex in its final planning for the completion of this development in
the Crowsnest area. This project will produce heavy media magnetite for the coal
industry. This demand is estimated at $20,000,000 per year with a substantial
market for the titanium by-products used in the paint industry. 


Micrex has received considerable interest from the companies using these
products and several of these large companies are anxious to represent Micrex in
the distribution of same.
