Champion Bear Completes Equity Offering

Champion Bear Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CBA) ("Champion Bear" or the
"Company") announced today that it has completed the private placement of
1,000,000 common shares of the Corporation to Canadian Platinum Corp. ("Canadian
Platinum") at a price of $0.25 per share for total gross proceeds of $1,000,000
pursuant to terms of a property option agreement between Canadian Platinum and
Champion Bear.


Champion Bear intends to use the proceeds of this private placement for its
ongoing exploration programs on its Eagle Rock
copper-nickel-platinum-palladium-gold property located in northwestern Ontario
and for general corporate purposes.


All securities issuable under the private placement will be subject to a hold
period of four months and one day from the closing date.
