Salomon Brothers Emerging Markets Floating Rate Fund Inc., which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "EFL," announced distributions for the month of September 2006, October 2006 and November 2006. The September 2006 distribution totaling $0.4781 per common share is comprised of short-term capital gains of $0.1605 in lieu of the Fund's regular distribution and long-term capital gains of $0.3176. The October 2006 distribution totaling $0.0700 per common share is comprised of short-term capital gains of $0.0700 in lieu of the Fund's regular distribution. The November 2006 distribution totaling $0.0700 per common share is comprised of short-term capital gains of $0.0700 in lieu of the Fund's regular distribution. The Fund has increased its distributions to reflect higher interest rates and to more closely approximate the current level of investment income generated by the portfolio. The Fund previously had paid a distribution of $0.0680 per share.
