The mission of Forgotten Harvest is to relieve hunger in the Detroit metropolitan community by rescuing surplus prepared and perishable food and donating it to emergency food providers. Also, hundreds of pounds of food collected by Daimler Financial Services' employees during a food drive were presented to Forgotten Harvest and loaded onto the agency's trucks. Earlier this year, Daimler Financial donated three brand new Freightliner and Sterling trucks to Forgotten Harvest's growing fleet.
