International Corporation (NASDAQ: VIMC) ("Vimicro" or the
"Company"), a leading video surveillance technology and solution
provider in China, today announced
that it will participate in the 2014 China International Exhibition
on Public Safety and Security to be held at Beijing International
Exhibition Centre from October 28 to
31. The Company's full product line will be showcased at
booth number E2C67 in Exhibition Hall E2.
The Company will launch the next generation of its flagship
Starlight Camera and its 718 and 736 chips at its product release
press conference in E306 of Complex Building 2nd Floor
at 14:30 on October 28, when the
newly released Starlight Camera will be staged against the
prevailing similar cameras from leading video surveillance
manufacturers on the quality of picture and image. The Starlight
Camera is a HD video surveillance camera designed for
low-illumination condition enabling normal color image under 0.01
Lux and workable image under 0.001 Lux, supporting both SVAC and
H.264 with 1080P/25 fps, propelled by Vimicro's proprietary image
processing chip.
The successful implementation of the SVAC-compliant video surveillance
system in Taiyuan will be showcased by the Department of Public
Security of Shanxi Province at the
Exhibition Area of Successful Application of Technology in Public
Security, sponsored by the Ministry of Public Security of
China. Following successful
implementation of the Phase I Tianwang city-wide video
surveillance project in Taiyuan, Vimicro is contracted to supply
the SVAC-compliant video
surveillance system and products
for Taiyuan's Phase II Tianwang.
