ScanSource Communications Europe Adds Polycom to Vendor Line Card in Germany

ScanSource Communications Europe, the communications distributor with offices in Germany and the UK and sales presence in four countries, has announced the addition of Polycom to its vendor line card. Through this partnership, ScanSource Communications Europe, a division of ScanSource, Inc., (NASDAQ: SCSC), a leading value added distributor of specialty technology products, will distribute Polycom’s industry-leading voice and videoconferencing solutions to resellers in Germany with immediate effect.

ScanSource Communications in the United States is the largest distributor for Polycom in North America and a long-time strategic partner. ScanSource Communications Europe will carry Polycom’s entire line of voice and video products, world renowned for their high-quality communication and collaboration capabilities. By offering Polycom’s solutions, resellers are able to help their end-user customers improve performance, enhance efficiency and remove the barriers of time and distance. What’s more, by reducing the amount of business travel through the use of voice and videoconferencing solutions, organisations will lessen their carbon footprint, allowing them to be more sensitive to the environment.
