imo it would be crazy for the co not to announce the first sale or sales......that would be a major turn of events that could very well rock this stock...

as far as flippers making money here, I hope they aren't counting on it to live...

You may be right. There was the pre-sale announcement last year that may turn into something, so I guess there is still a chance that we'll see a revenue tick in the annual.

Moreover, there's still an outside chance that something happens in Q1.

In any event, I haven't a clue whether they will PR it outside of a annual/quarterly. Maybe they've learned that the market doesn't trust what they say outside of those reports.

I will say that if there are no 2024 ABBIE revenues after that "Pre-Launch Pre-Orders" PR last year, the market will further ignore anything the Company has to say.

I agree, the company needs to show that all their previous talk is actually amounting to something. Until then, there is little reason for any excitement here and it will stay relegated to small time flipping.

I assumed you were and have to ask, don't you expect the co to make an announcement when there is an actual sale or license deal ?

I guess my point is this, imo we don't have to wait until the annual or first qtr filing, I would highly doubt either will show ABBIE revenue that we will not be expecting due to a PR pre filing......

Until they demonstrate that they can or cannot deliver there's no reason for anything to happen outside of a few flippers playing in the margins.

We're seeing the result of years of bullshit announcements with no meaningful action.

IMHO, the best thing they could do is 1) release their annual report ahead of schedule, and 2) release a substantive earnings projection for the next quarter and FY regardless of whether it's positive, neutral, or negative (and keep doing so on a quarterly basis)...you know, like real companies do.

Until SHMN can demonstrate that they are willing to be honest and forthright, there's no reason for any shareholders/prospective investors to act on anything they say.

You're absolutely correct, but I'm pretty sure that a former employee/consultant who left on less than great terms won't have the kind of comments that will lead to more investor confidence.

Proof (one way or the other) will be in the pudding on 3/31 and/or 5/15. Until then, anything anyone says are just more words with very little substance.

Any input is appreciated. Investors simply have no confidence at this point. The constant downward spiral reflects that. Is the future bright? Yes. But they are all words and very little substance. Any informative comments need to be expressed.

Agreed. A buyback is needed. I have been pushing for this. They need to regain credibility. Show to investors they believe in the work they have been putting in for over a year now. You can’t buy a home in California for the market cap of this company. They should be buying at these absurdly depressed levels.

I tend to agree with that JD, but no one knows where ABBIE is headed. The OS for instance could be lowered with some serious share buyback, yeah, someone had to say it, might as well be me. Initial sales, if good, could pay for that easily.

SHMN shares are not being introduced to the right people by the co. Are they trying ?

With ABBIE having so much potential it boggles my mind that anyone that follows genome editing technology would not want to invest.

SHMN currently has 1.998 billion shares outstanding; there's no way (barring a short squeeze) that this company justifies a $2BB market cap.

I expect to see a penny plus if the annual/Q1 reports show revenue, and hope for a nickel. I dream of a dime, but even that's pushing the limits of feasibility based solely on market cap implications (currently looking at the chart of a $300MM/yr Nasdaq company with a market cap of $350MM).
