They are moving ahead with the new Model Y and the cheaper model will come out later on this year. The shorting will end as it always does with TSLA, in the toilet. I hope you find a way to make money. There is no pleasure in seeing other people lose (except musk, maybe, because he is pushing for autocracy everywhere.) I just don't see how TSLA shares have any direction but down for the next couple of years. Revenue and profits are going to drop massively this year, green and tax credits for TSLA are disappearing, too. Then what is left is just a car company. Sure, batteries are big business...but those are industrial products and industrial businesses are not valued like tech businesses...and Wall Street is finally copping on to the fact that Tesla is not a tech business, not really. The multiples have to compress. Tesla can still be a successful company - but valued like any other successful company among its peers.

A trading halt for volatility will not be triggered for steady declines such as you see today.
