Regulatory News:

Tilgin (STO:TILG), a leading provider of solutions for multiplay and next-generation broadband access, announces the launch of HGA2.2, Tilgin’s latest software platform for Home Gateways.

“We have developed the HGA platform for the last 12 years, and are proud of the HGA2.2 release. We can with confidence say that we now have an even better business case for operators and service providers! This new platform offers them a unique opportunity to expand their offerings and optimize their operations.” says Eric Hjelmestam VP Solution Management & Marketing at Tilgin.

HGA2.2 is an unmatched feature-rich toolbox and the perfect instrument to simplify broadband deployment and optimize operations. It allows operators and service providers to, easily and quickly, create and launch new services as well as optimize operational cost.

When deploying new services, operators can take advantage of the fact that HGA2.2 also supports 3G network access and a fully managed local storage solution (NAS) which opens up possibilities for a number of new end-user services.

Tilgin’s HGA software supports any network scenario including fully routed scenarios. The platform provides a mature and feature rich VoIP solution, supporting the latest IMS standards and legacy SIP. Several interfaces can be used for the voice services: FXS, ISDN, SIP- ALG (to SIP phone/client) and the new generation DECT, CAT-iq 2.0.

The Tilgin Gateway software, HGA, is continuously developed to meet the most advanced requirements of new features. Using Tilgin Home Gateways, operators will be able to directly use the HGA to its full potential. HGA is fully portable to any hardware platform and compliant to applicable standards like TR-069 and open to any remote management system compliant to the TR-069 framework.
