The Osaka Securities Exchange Co. (8697.OK) said Tuesday that as part of an expansion of its partnership with Chicago Mercantile Exchange parent CME Group Inc. (CME) it will list futures contracts based on the Dow Jones Industrial Average from as early as this winter.

"We are pleased to further build on our strong relationship with OSE in order to offer customers more risk management and trading opportunities with leading global equity index benchmarks," CME Group Chief Executive Craig Donohue said in a statement.

Dow futures were previously listed on the OSE, Japan's largest derivatives bourse, from 2002 to 2005. The CME Group and the OSE originally formed a business alliance in 2008.
