French advertising company Publicis Groupe SA (PUB.FR) doesn't have any plans for big acquisitions in the short-term after it recently bought digital agency Razorfish from Microsoft Corp. (MSFT), Chief Executive Maurice Levy said Tuesday.

"We have some leeway to do acquisitions but for the moment we are only eyeing acquisitions of a very small size," Levy told reporters in a briefing on third-quarter revenue.

"Nothing significant is planned for the short-term," he said, adding that the group still looks for opportunities to strengthen its position in digital and emerging markets.

Publicis Tuesday said it paid a total of EUR369 million for Razorfish through delivery of 6.5 million shares and the balance in cash.

Publicis said it should create cost savings of $13 million with the acquisition, which will be accretive as of 2011.
