Application for Delisting of Shares

Toray Industries, Inc. (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Akihiro Nikkaku) hereby announces that, further to its announcement on October 30, 2013, in which it announced the intended delisting from the London Stock Exchange (the "LSE"), application has been made for the cancellation of the listing of its Shares of Common Stock (ISIN: JP3621000003; the "Shares") and Bearer Depositary Receipts (ISIN: GB0008968231; the "BDRs") on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority, and the cancellation of the admission to trading of its Shares and BDRs on the LSE. The removal of its Shares and BDRs from the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and from trading on the LSE is expected to take effect on December 30, 2013.
