Following the announcement that the offer made on behalf of Sterling Energy plc
("Sterling") by Evolution Beeson Gregory Limited (the "Offer") for the issued
and to be issued share capital of Fusion Oil & Gas plc ("Fusion") has been
declared unconditional in all respects, subject only to the admission of the
consideration shares to trading on the Alternative Investment Market ("AIM"),
Sterling has applied for up to 289,629,167 ordinary shares of 1p each ("New
Sterling Shares") to be admitted to AIM ("Admission"). The New Sterling Shares
will be allotted in order to meet acceptances received under the Offer from
holders of ordinary shares of 1p each in Fusion.
