SEP INDUSTRIAL HOLDINGS PLC ("SEP" or "THE COMPANY)


RESULT OF OPEN OFFER


The Directors of SEP announce that as at 3 p.m. on 16 July 2001, the closing
date of the open offer set out in the circular to shareholders dated 20 June
2001 ("the Open Offer") extended as set out in the supplementary prospectus to
shareholders dated 10 July 2001, valid applications under the Open Offer in
respect of 243,715 ordinary shares had been received along with excess
applications in respect of 47,647 ordinary shares. This represents in
aggregate 4.80 per cent. of the shares available under the Open Offer.  Excess
applications will be satisfied in full.

Prior to the Open Offer, #7.45 million was conditionally placed firm with
institutional investors in order to enable the company to implement its
strategy following the acquisition of Integration Limited.
