Rheochem plc ("the Company"), the oil and gas business with production, development and exploration assets is pleased to announce that all resolutions put to shareholders at the General Meeting held earlier today, regarding the disposal of the drilling fluids business,were duly passed.

A further announcement will be made once the Company's name change has been completed, and upon completion of the disposal to Newpark Resources, Inc.
