         Board Appointment of Marketing Director
                            
The Board of Partners plc are pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr Michael Kilcourse (age 38) as Marketing
Director of the Group. This completes the restructuring
of the Partners Board.

Michael, who has an MBA in Retailing and Wholesaling, is
expected to join the Group towards the end of October and
brings extensive marketing experience to our team.  He is
currently Group Marketing Manager at Dixons plc and was
previously Group Product Manager at Boots PLC, where his
role included specific responsibility for stationery
products.
