       Prometheus Produces World's First Commercial LNG from Landfill Gas

On Friday, January 11, 2007, Prometheus Energy Company began producing liquid
natural gas ("LNG") from the world's first landfill gas-to-LNG plant. The plant
was installed in late 2006 at the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill in Orange County,
California.

The Bowerman Landfill currently flares enough landfill gas to make approximately
40,000 gallons of LNG per day, and this amount is increasing each year. The
current plant, which has production capacity of 5,000 gallons per day, is the
first of three phases planned to be built at the landfill. On Saturday, January
20th, 2007, the plant produced LNG at the rate of 1,000 gallons per day. As the
commissioning process continues, the Company expects the plant's operations to
approach its nameplate capacity of 5,000 gallons per day.

The entire output of the plant will be used as an alternative fuel in public
transport vehicles in the Orange County Transit Authority fleet. This project is
part of the Company's global initiative to produce transportation fuel from
waste energy sources, and to partner with communities to provide transportation
fueling alternatives that have a positive impact on the environment. At a
production level of 5,000 gallons per day, the project will reduce carbon
dioxide output by the equivalent of 10,000 tons per year.

Kirt Montague, Prometheus CEO said, "The Bowerman installation is one of the 
most technically challenging of our projects and the commissioning of our first
unit is an important milestone for our company. It is a significant step toward
our goal of displacing imported diesel and gasoline with low-cost, clean and
renewable fuel. When fully commissioned, we estimate that the plant will have
the effect of taking 150,000 cars a year off the road. The project fits well
with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's and the California
Legislature's recent legislative efforts designed to jump-start America's fight
against global warming."

Together with three other projects, two in California and one in Poland, the
company is working on developments with an estimated capacity of 65,000 gallons
of LNG per day. In Poland, Prometheus has joined with the Polish company CETUS
Energetyka Gazowa Sp Z.o.o, to form LNG Silesia to take advantage of vast coal
mine methane opportunities in southern Poland and the emerging alternative
energy markets present there. The Company is also in the design phase of its
landfill gas-to-LNG project at the Kiefer Road Landfill in Sacramento County,
California, and in the build phase of a stranded gas well to LNG project in San
Joaquin County, California.
