                    Result of Extraordinary General Meeting 
 
 
Greencore Group plc ('the Company') announces that the resolution proposed at 
the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held today was passed. The 
resolution was to approve the proposed disposal of Greencore Malt to Axéréal 
Union De Coopératives Agricoles. The full text of the resolution was included in 
the notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company circulated to 
Shareholders on 19 February 2010.   The resolution was passed on a show of 
hands.
