Food and Drink Group (The) Plc ("Food & Drink Group" or "the Company") announces
that 60,000 new ordinary shares in the  Company have been issued in
consideration for the acquisition of a leasehold property in the City of London.

Application has been made for these new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM
and for trading to commence at 8.00 a.m.  on 8 November 2007.

These new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing
Ordinary Shares currently in issue.  The total number of Food & Drink Group
Ordinary Shares in issue following the issue of the shares and admission of the 
new Ordinary Shares to trading will be 5,672,125.
