CONTRACT SIGNING AT THE PRINTWORKS, MANCHESTER


EuroTelecom Communications Inc. ('EuroTelecom'), the AIM and
NASDAQ quoted company whose 'application linking' technology
is used to create the communications backbone for intelligent
buildings, has signed a contract for the first phase of work
to be carried out at The Printworks in Manchester, which is
set to be Europe's first urban entertainment centre. During
the first phase EuroTelecom will carry out work for the
design, installation and operation of an intelligent network
infrastructure for use throughout the complex.

The Printworks has been developed at a cost in excess of #100
million and is another major step in the re-development of
Manchester city centre. The whole complex, which is on the
former site of Europe's biggest newspaper plant, will provide
350,000 sq ft of retail and leisure facilities including a 3D
IMAX Cinema, 20 screen UCI cinema complex together with the
Hard Rock Cafi, a Holmes Place health club and Tiger Tiger
restaurant.

The first phase of the work has been contracted between
developers Richardson Developments Limited and The Printworks
Trustees (British Airways Pensions Trustees Limited, Pearl
(Printworks) Limited and NPI (Printworks) Limited) for a
consideration of #300,000 for EuroTelecom, together with an
additional #60,000 per annum income for the provision of
facilities management services within the complex. A further
#300,000 of work will be provided in the second phase of work
at The Printworks.

Phil Derry, EuroTelecom's Chief Executive said:

'The signing of the contract for The Printworks in Manchester
follows our recent contract award for Q.ton Forum on the
Cambridge Science Park.  EuroTelecom now has two major, high
profile, intelligent building infrastructure projects under
way.  Although the initial contract values are modest, we
confidently expect both projects to generate increasing
revenues as they move through to formal opening and occupation
by multiple tenants later this year.'
