The Board of Capcon Holdings plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that
Karine Luckcraft, a non-executive director of the Company since 1 January 2002,
will become an executive director of the Company from 1 May 2002.

Karine Bernadette Mary Elizabeth Luckcraft (nee Sheehan), age 40, has been a
director of the following companies in the past five years: WestLB Panmure
Limited, Platinum Blue Holdings Plc, Equity Investigator Limited.

There is no further information falling to be disclosed in accordance with Rule
15 of the AIM Rules.
