The Board of Capcon Holdings plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Karine Luckcraft as non-executive director with effect from 1
January 2002.

Karine Bernadette Mary Elizabeth Luckcraft (nee Sheehan), age 40, has been a
director of the following companies in the past five years: WestLB Panmure
Limited, Platinum Blue Holdings Plc, Equity Investigator Limited.

There is no further information falling to be disclosed in accordance with
Rule 15 of the AIM Rules.
