    Exercise of Options
    Chieftain Group plc announces that at a board meeting held on 24 October 2008 it allotted 260,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the
Company following the exercise of options by the executive directors listed below in accordance with the Company's Executive Share Option
Scheme 2006.
