Following the announcement by Towergate earlier today, the board of COBRA Holdings PLC ("COBRA") announces that talks are continuing with Alto Intermediary Group Limited ("Alto") which may or may not lead to an offer for the whole of COBRA's issued share capital.

Alto and its financial backers have completed most of their pre-acquisition enquiries with due diligence and a further announcement will be made in due course. There is no guarantee that any offer will be forthcoming.
