London, UK, 29 June 2007: BioProgress (AIM: BPRG), the specialty pharma and 
healthcare company, is required to notify the market of the following:

BioProgress' issued share capital consists of 182,829,222 ordinary shares with a
nominal value of 1 pence each, with voting rights. BioProgress does not hold any
ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in BioProgress is 182,829,222.

The above figure of 182,829,222 shares may be used by shareholders as the 
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are 
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, 
BioProgress under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency 
Rules.
