Re: :   Allotment of shares against exercise of Employees Stock Options

We have to inform you that at the Meeting of the Shareholders/Investors
Grievance Committee of the Board held on October 14, 2005.



6,550 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2000,

3,200 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2001

6,600 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2002.

15,180 shares were allotted against exercise of Stock Options granted to
employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2003, and



Consequently, the paid up Share Capital of the Company has increased from
18,37,07,748 shares to 18,37,39,278 shares of Rs.10/- face value, as of date.
