                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES

The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 248,000 of its own A-shares, for NOK
167.61 per share.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 1,595,850 of its own
shares, being 1,486,200 A-shares and 109,650 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 58,099,206.
