                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 203,000 of its own A-shares for NOK
168.00 per share.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 424,850 of its own
shares, being 352,550 A-shares and 72,300 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 59,270,206.
