LONDON--Mandarin Oriental International Ltd. (M04.SG) said Wednesday that trading momentum across majority of its hotel portfolio remained positive, and added that occupancy level at the company's Hong Kong hotels suffered due to ongoing demonstrations in the city.

The hotel operator also said that ongoing political uncertainty in Bangkok continued to affect its Asia results in the period from July 1 to Nov. 4. The results in The Americas region were impacted by lower demand in Washington D.C., the company said.
