CCL appears ready now to make a serious stab at $28 within the next 2 weeks, wouldn't be surprised to see $30 in the next month.

Mizuho Adjusts Price Target on Carnival to $32 From $26

Truist Securities increased its price target on Carnival to $29 from $20 and its target on Norwegian Cruise Line to $35 from $25.

CCL is getting close to half way up to the pre-COVID highs. Nice upward momentum.

What a beautiful move $$$ CCL

Moving averages are lagging indicators, they tell the story after the fact. That being said, Monday on the weekly chart the 50 day moving average crossed the 200 day moving average in the upward direction. The reason this is significant is the last time this happened was back in October 2010 when it crossed when CCL was around $30 and the stock ran all the way up to between $66-$67 where it topped out in January 2018.
We should be able to safely assume barring an overthrow of the US Government, a nuclear bomb and/or going into a recession that the stock will no longer trade below the former resistance area $19.00-$19.50 which should have now turned into support and continue the upward direction.

You are right on the money! [Hope it continues and has a firm base at $22/$23 in the next couple of weeks.]

Volume is very heavy, well above average. Price action today is the highest that CCL has traded at since May 2022. Might hit 20 before the day is out.

I didn't proof read before posting. The overhead resistance is between 19.00 and 19.50.
At current price 19.34 CCL is preparing to breakout through this massive resistance. Hopefully this time there will be strong follow through opening the door to prices that haven't been seen prior to Covid.

At long last CCL is preparing to breakout of an Ascending Quadruple Top. There must be strong follow through tomoorrow and for the next week or two smashing the overhead resistance between 17 and 17.50. This should bring the Bulls out.
Significant higher prices should be imminent. Everything is pointing upwards and now is the time to follow through.

One could lose their mind watching this trade. I’ve decided to close my eyes and not pay attention to this neurotic share price. This was almost $50 before the Chinese Wuhan flu

Total customer deposits at Carnival for future sailings are at an all-time high of $8.3 billion. In the company’s second quarter, revenue rose 18% year over year to $5.78 billion, exceeding Wall Street expectations. Where analysts were expecting a loss, Carnival posted a net gain. Carnival has been exceeding Wall Street profit targets since resuming normal operations almost two years ago.
The same Carnival that, during the darkest stretches of the COVID-19 crisis, some figured would never turn a profit is trading at a recent price-to-sales ratio of 0.8, well below its five-year average of 1.3 (which includes some years heavily pressured by the pandemic).
Carnival’s doing a good job of cleaning up its balance sheet now that it’s making money again. It has bought back $6.6 billion of its debt in the last five quarters. Carnival bulls expect debt repayments, more efficiency from a newer fleet and, eventually, a return to paying out quarterly dividends. Bears worry that there’s still a lot of debt to pay off. To all the CCL longs, I apologize. I am the reason CCL dropped so much this week. I purchased more call options than I ever had in life the past nine days. Why ? Royal Caribbean had great earnings. I thought Norwegian would have great earnings - they did. Yet the cruise industry tanked, and bad market news the past couple days. Nine days ago was the CCL peak. So stupid of me. Good news for the longs? CCL should start increasing next Monday as my options have expired. GLTA CCL longs.

It’s sure doesn’t look like it now. Tanked 3 days in a row someone’s always playing games with this stock.

With Luck, we should be around $25 by the end of August/early September.
