Diaz Announces Second Quarter Filing Date

Diaz Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DZR) announces that it has been advised by the
ASC that due to the July 14, 2011, effective date of its listing on the TSX
Venture Exchange, the customary 60 day period available to Venture-listed
issuers is not applicable for the Company's Q2 2011 financial filing.
Consequently, Diaz will be filing its financial results for the second quarter
2011 on August 23rd. 


Diaz is an oil and gas exploration and production company based in Calgary,
Alberta. Diaz's current focus is on oil development and exploration in Alberta
and Saskatchewan.
