JCE Nuveen Core Equity Alpha Fund

Nuveen Investments, a leading global provider of investment services to institutions, as well as individual investors, today announced an update to the portfolio management teams for the following five Nuveen closed-end funds.

Nuveen Asset Management, LLC, remains responsible for all five funds’ option overlay implementation. Keith B. Hembre and David A. Friar, who currently manage the funds’ option overlay program, have now assumed full responsibility for the funds’ option overlay program. James Colon will no longer be a co-portfolio manager of the funds’ option overlay program, but will remain with Nuveen Asset Management.

Additionally, Nuveen Asset Management, LLC, is responsible for managing the underlying equity portfolios of DPD, DPO and QQQX. Mr. Hembre and Mr. Friar will assume full responsibility for management of these funds’ underlying portfolios. James Colon will no longer be a co-portfolio manager of these funds’ underlying portfolios. Investment responsibility for the underlying portfolios of JCE and JTD remain unchanged. INTECH Investment Management, LLC remains as a sub-adviser for JCE and Santa Barbara Asset Management, LLC and, NWQ Investment Management Company, LLC remain as sub-advisers for JTD.
