Red Cat Holdings, Inc. FlightWave, a leading provider of VTOL drone, sensor and software solutions was acquired by Red Cat in September 2024. The acquisition brought FlightWave’s flagship drone, the Edge 130 Blue into its family of low-cost, portable unmanned reconnaissance and precision lethal strike systems. because RCAT was always going to be an exit vehicle, and he got out at the best time. Others are probably selling into this as well. Just look at the financials: their margins don't increase with increasing revenues, they don't invest into infrastructure (which would explain the former), and their balance sheet keeps deteriorating in the most profitable market situation they will ever see. In addition, look into the CEO a bit and his past dealings. That short sell report was extremely superficial and didn't really highlight any of the real problems with RCAT.

to be fair, I've underestimated how far this stock has rallied and I was lucky to not get caught on the short end of it. but the general statement still holds true: the further this deviates from $1, the better the opportunity to short it. If you believe that this is a 600M company, I've got a lot of snake oil that you must buy!

I assume that the recently published misinformation that Red Cat will address has to do with the "Kerrisdale Capital" short report.
I look forward to hearing/reading Red Cat response ... some of the sentiment in that report made me a bit skittish, so I reluctantly lightened up a bit on my RCAT shares, and now waiting to see how things shakes out. If the share price drops much further, the bargain hunter in me will likely cause me to buy back in.

Question: will the more recent announced collaboration with Palantir (PLTR) possibly diminish the extent of the RCAT/PDYN collaboration (since they both involve software to be used on the RCAT drones)?

In other words:
I am curious whether Palladyne will have less to gain/profit from their collaboration with Red Cat, as a result of the subsequent announcement of Red Cat collaboration with Palantir.

I'm a nobody but RCAT is only starting to fire on all cylinders. Need I say more.

Prior to Red Cat SSR win, I read about RCAT & Pallayne (PDYN) collaboration. I bought a little of PDYN, and a lot more of RCAT ... in part because I had done a bit more DD on RCAT, and could not estimate how much the above collaboration might translate to increased revenues/profit for PDYN. I actually sold it after a quick 50% gain, from $2 to $3.

You mention "on pace for $9 million in revs".
Here is from transcript of Earnings Release: "... we upped our guidance from $50 million to $55 million goalposts and we put some kind of wide goal posts out there, $80 million to $120 million.
So that's basically adding what we think SRR-related revenue is going to be to the total.
The wide goalposts are, you know, we're not completely into all the contracting that we need, which will be happening in the next few weeks. We will be probably having an Analyst Day in New York in early January.
We're hoping to pin it down before tonight. So we'll be actually giving an update just in a few weeks after the holidays and we'll be able to give you more detail on all the contracts that we've been signing and maybe firm up those goalposts a little bit for everybody."

I believe the RCAT profit margins will be improving, in part due to much higher production, but also due to increasing margins based on the Palantir collaboration.
With the SRR win, it "paves the way" for possible additional wins such as in Western Europe ... who could see this recent win as a "vetting" of the RCAT platform and technology ... so perhaps some additional big wins could be on the horizon.

I doubt SP will "drop back to $4-5 range". I added when it dropped back to $8-9 range recently, and now heading back up 20+% today ... back over $11.

80M OS x 10 per share = market cap of $800 million.

Think she may be over bought at this time...haven't looked at the 'Subsequent Events' section yet. Better have some blockbuster sales' news coming. $12 million in Inventory. Need to turn that Inventory over every month get revenues up to $140 million per year still giving it a 5-6 price to sales ratio, 5 to 6x sales valuation, which for new tech isn't that high, isn't too high...on pace for $9 million in revs (sales dipped way down Q3 for some reason) and lost a whopping $25 million for the 6 months, $13 million past 3 months...as usual need to cut cut cut the General & Administrative expense line item costing nearly half the operating expenses/losses...unless big sales news...I dunno, look for her to drop back down maybe even to the $4-5 range? JMO Still doing DD on the current events, subsequent events...they should have brought in a ton of cash on their latest offering...that would make "everyone" feel a little better...sell 5 million shares @ 10 = $50 million cash...this is a developing story... 😉 (note: I haven't even read the last PR update...will post later on that. This post is just observations of the last Q's fins)
