This from Market Watch just recently. Maybe we get a little.

The Company also reported today that the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per share payable on September 2, 2015 to shareholders of record on August 13, 2015.

We have, unfortunately, seen this movie before. In fact, several times going on three years.

While Oct 31 is the official deadline, if this thing hasn't happened by the end of September I would say it is doubtful. My readings indicate this may be Hudson's last best chance and will probably get hammered if the merger fails. Think I have to agree.

Well if they don't currently pay a dividend and the merger is not done by the Oct 31 deadline, I will be forced to take my lumps and go elsewhere. This is a far cry from several years ago when Jim Cramer had the CEO on his show talking about the great things to come for HCBK. Wrong!!!!

As far as I know they continue to pay a dividend. I have owned this stock for a long time and it got hit hard. Had to cut dividends twice and share price went down. Am still banking on a merger with MT Bank which has been in the works for over two years but not yet approved by our wonder federal government..

At this point have no idea what to expect. This is over regulation at its worst. Read where M n T Bank are required to hire 41, yes, 41 new advisors to comply. I guess if we don't get it by Oct 31, we will be granted yet another extension. That should take us to about three years--ridiculous!!!

The chart is starting to look sweet.The fundies are sweet.I'm keeping a sharp eye on this one for a bottom busta when the fins turn around.Right now this baby is being thrown out with the bath water.China stocks and fins are taking hits now when the overall markets plummet that will be the time to load here.Because that will be when int rates make a strong turn north which is good for fins

As a result, the Bank expects to be better able to grow and compete in the current and foreseeable residential mortgage marketplace. In a series of transactions executed this month, co paid off $12.50 billion in structured quarterly putable borrowings, funded by the sale of $8.66 billion of securities, and $5.00 billion of new shorter-term fixed maturity borrowings with an average cost of 0.66%. These transactions will negatively impact first quarter 2011 after-tax earnings by ~$644 million or $1.30 per share. For the full year 2011, the loss from the restructuring will be reduced by four quarters of earnings, absent the restructuring charge.

Still watching, not trading yet. The lower it goes the more attractive it becomes. Only negative on it for me is the high float (513M) but the trading volume is high enuff to overcome this.
