Alfa Laval Wins SEK 55 Million Energy-Efficiency Order in Italy

Alfa Laval (STO:ALFA) – a world leader in heat transfer,
centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order in
Italy to supply various pieces of equipment to a new petrochemical
plant in Slovakia. The order, booked in the Energy & Process
segment, has a value of approximately SEK 55 million and delivery
is scheduled for 2016.
The order includes various gas boilers that will be installed in
a process line in an ammonia production plant in Slovakia.
“Our equipment will re-use heat in the ammonia production
process and thereby contribute to a very energy-efficient system,
with low environmental impact,” says Lars Renstr�m, President and
CEO of the Alfa Laval Group. “The order confirms our products’
ability to meet the high demands of the petrochemical
industry.”
