The Amsterdam Court will hold a closed meeting Friday at 1200 GMT on the DSB Bank bankruptcy case, the court said Friday on its Web site.

The court has to decide whether Dutch non-listed DSB bank has succeeded in finding a serious takeover candidate or to be declared bankrupt.

DSB Bank said late Thursday that they had found an interested U.S. candidate as a "last viable option."

The court said Thursday that if DSB Bank succeeds in finding a serious takeover candidate the hearing of concerned parties would continue Friday at 1200 GMT.

The court and DSB Bank weren't immediately available Friday for comment.
