                              Directorate Changes 
 
The Board of Southern Bear plcis pleased to announce the appointment of Neil 
Chapman, aged 41, and Christopher Richard Arnott, aged 37, as Non-Executive 
Directors of the Company with immediate effect. 
 
Neil and Christopher both have significant experience in the fire protection 
markets. In 1995 they were both instrumental in the set up and management of a 
north east division of RD Fire Protection Limited. In 1998 they formed 
Intumescent Protective Coatings Limited ("IPCL"), the specialist fire and 
corrosion protection company, and have continued to grow the business to the 
present day. IPCL was acquired by Southern Bear in December 2009. 
 
Neil is primarily responsible for the commercial and financial management of 
IPCL whilst also focusing on new opportunities for the business and diversifying 
the services offered. 
 
Christopher is involved in all aspects of managing IPCL including tendering, 
project management and overseeing the commercial conclusion of completed 
contracts. Chris is also actively involved in IPCL's strategy to move into and 
develop the existing building market. 
Commenting on the appointments, Mark Sims, Chief Executive of Southern Bear 
said:

the issued share capital of the Group.
