Creston plc announces that it has today exchanged contracts to sell The
Redlands Centre, Coulsdon, Surrey for #2,050,000. A deposit of #205,000 was
paid in cash by the purchaser on exchange of contracts and the balance is
payable in cash on completion on 31 May 1999. The property comprises
industrial units totalling 30,700 square feet of which 1,518 square feet is
vacant and the balance let to a variety of tenants at rents totalling #243,500
per annum. The book value of the property is #2,050,000. The sales proceeds
will be applied to the reduction of borrowings under the company's revolving
credit facility and so create additional resources to fund future 
acquisitions.
