The Board of Claims People, the AIM listed insurance claims facility provider,
today announces the completion of a placing of new ordinary shares, news
relating to the expansion of its Board and a new service focused specifically on
the investigation of accidents involving fatalities and serious injury.

APPOINTMENTS
As part of the Board's plan for the ongoing development of the current Claims
People business, through the introduction of additional services and by seeking
to broaden its product offer into complementary aspects of the insurance claims
management and services sector, the Group has appointed to the Board Geoff
Somervail as Chief Executive, with Barry Whyte moving to the position of Group
Managing Director. Robert Mitchell of Bluehone Investments has been appointed as
a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately. Dominic Boyce, the Group
Financial Director, is to assume the added responsibility of Company Secretary
from Peter Morgan who is giving up the role due to commitments outside the
Group.

of the placing at 1.5p raising a total of #500,000.00. Geoff Somervail has

recently the introduction and expansion of its i-Team operation which provides
support services for major insurance companies and has had a positive impact on
recent trading for the Group with strong indications of further growth.

The new funds are to be used to expand the working capital in line with the
Group's intention to broaden its operating base. Geoff Somervail and the Group's
Managing Director, Barry Whyte, will be working closely to develop the existing
product offering of the Group - targeting complementary areas of activity to
enhance the total operation.

Admission of the new Ordinary Shares is expected to take place on 2 March 2007.

NEW SERVICE
The Board of Claims People has recently introduced a new Motor Forensic
Investigation Service to assist insurers, solicitors and self insured corporate
fleet operators in the UK. The market for serious and fatal motor investigations
is significant. The new service focuses specifically on the investigation of
accidents involving fatalities and serious injury.

Commenting on the developments, John French, Chairman of Claims People
commented: "The Board has clearly identified a number of interesting target
markets to accelerate the growth of the Group. I believe the changes, as
outlined, will provide the resources in terms of management skills and other
related resources to enable the Group to capitalise on such opportunities, a
number of which have been identified for exploration."
